September 2008 traffic at the French Port of Dunkirk  continued the strong showing of August, up 9%, according to the port.

The provisional traffic recorded for the first 9 months of 2008 is up 3% compared to last year, said port officials. Ores performed well in September, rising 15%. Ore traffic was also up 4% year-to-date through September.
