Version 22 of ALK Technologies' FleetSuite uses PC*Miler 22 map data to provide for in-cab, truck-specific directions in real time, says the company.

ALK FleetSuite has been updated with the latest street-level detail provided by state and local entities and has added 390,500 miles of truck restricted roadway (for a total of 853,500 miles) says ALK. FleetSuite also claims 1.8 million weight restrictions and allowances and more than 2,800 new height restrictions in the latest version.

While a truck is enroute, the system can issue an alert when the truck deviates by a user-defined distance from the assigned route.
